Born out of the back streets of London GOREROTTED are one of the UK's leading extreme metal acts and a band like no other. This is beyond death metal, this is extreme punk with a rock and roll attitude. Fast and violent music that makes you wanna destroy all around you. GOREROTTED first hit the scene in 1998 with a self-financed demo MCD titled 'Her Gash I Did Slash'. This demo sold out of its 1,500 copies in just a few months. Now rare and highly sought after, copies of the demo can only been found on websites like Ebay, being sold for stupid amounts of money. In 2000 GOREROTTED signed a deal with UK label DEAD AGAIN RECORDS for the release of their first full length album 'Mutilated In Minutes'. In 2002 'Mutilated In Minutes' was re-issued with brand new artwork by IBD RECORDS for Europe and RELAPSE RECORDS for the USA, Australia and Japan. With the re-issued album selling fast, GOREROTTED were featured in the Terrorizer magazine "Gore Issue". "Mutilated In Minutes" went on to beat all albums by Cannibal Corpse, Mortician, Exhumed and the other usual suspects to come in at number 7 in the Gore Metal Album Top 20 of all time. Only Death, Autopsy, Carcass and Repulsion had higher ranking albums. November 2003 saw the release of GOREROTTED's second album 'Only Tools And Corpses' on Metal Blade Records. 'Only Tools and Corpses" is a 9 song assault on the senses, a ride of intense brutality that will leave your adrenaline pumping and your blood racing. Again recorded and mixed at Philia Studios with Dave Chang (Stamping Ground, Machine Head etc) and Mastered at Turan Audio (Emperor, Marilyn Manson etc) it's a huge slab of extremity. During 2003 / 2004 GOREROTTED have toured heavily to promote the new album, including a two week European tour with Pungent Stench, a headline UK tour, a mini German tour with Vomitory, support slots with Cannibal Corpse and many festival appearances including Summer Breeze Festival, Party San openair, Kaltenbach openair (Austria), Grind Your Mother Openair (Italy) and The Rotterdam Death festival (Holland). GOREROTTED will return to Holland and Germany in December 2004 for a headline mini tour with Inhume. This tour will include the 'Arnhem Metal Meeting' festival where GOREROTTED will share the stage with heavy weight acts such as Entombed and Suffocation. The first of next years summer festivals is already confirmed with GOREOTTED being booked for 'Fuck The Commerce VIII' Openair festival in May 2005. Autumn 2004 sees GOREROTTED stripped down to a 5 piece following the departure of vocalist Mr Gore. Bass player the Wilson has stepped up to handle even more of the high parts alongside Goreskin's huge death metal vocals.
