Vocal group active between 1945-1948. It consisted of Richard Eugene "Gene" Smith (leader), James Sapp, Tommy Adams, and Frederick Johnson. Johnson's position was at times filled first by Eugene "Bunny" Walker and later Henry Oliver "Ollie" Jones. They recorded for Premier (1945), International Record (1946), Paradise (1948), and Gotham (1948).
