Australian Ethnomusicologist based in Melbourne, specializing in West African music, In recent years, through a research grant, Graeme Counsel was mandated by the Guinean Government to sort, organize and catalogue the entire musical archives of the Republic of Guinea. Graeme Counsel also maintains a web site (see link below) specializing in music from Guinea and from other neighboring countries. It also includes extensive discographies from individual artists and labels the like of Editions Syliphone Conakry
