Graham Sherman

GB
Electronic and Rock
A.k.a. Sherman (Graham)

DJ, Writer, Remixer. In his guise of 'Sherman At The Controls' in the early 1990's, he single handedly got the NME to write about dance music, championing the likes of The Orb, Andrew Weatherall, The Black Dog and Aphex Twin. He was the first to talk about Underground Resistance in the UK press, and introduced the NME readership to the new electronic delights of Djax-Up, FNAC and F.U.S.E. As one half of Euphoria, Sherman was signed to London's Guerilla Records, whose releases were amongst the first to be termed "Progressive House". His own label [Cloak And Dagger Records] released darker, more leftfield sounds.
