Album UK 2005 on Lemon Recordings label
Rock
July 4, 1988: American Independence Day. Graham Parker was the only English act appearing at an open-air concert in Grant Park, Chicago. The set was recorded by local rock station WXRT, long-time supporters of Parker, and it later surfaced on a bootleg which captured all of his characteristic power, intensity and variety. Now reclaimed by GP, it's officially released as the third in his Art Vandelay series of rare and unusual recordings.
