Grant Fleming

Musician of Alternative and Rock

Photographer, writer and former bass player, roadie from east London. Fleming was a roadie for Sham 69 and associate of the Cockney Rejects before getting involved in the 1979 Mod Revival scene. Jimmy Pursey gave him his first bass guitar and he joined Kidz Next Door which also featured Jimmy Pursey's brother. He became a football 'casual' and was a member of West Ham United's hooligan Inter City Firm (ICF). Circa 1989 he became involved with Creation Records setting up their 'dance' department. He also worked closely with Primal Scream as their 'official' photographer. He has had many jobs in his life but is now most well known for his photography.
