Album US 2002 on Jazzateria label
Jazz (Contemporary Jazz, Jazz-Funk, Soul-Jazz)
The son of infamous soul-jazz musician Grant Green, Green Jr. started a like-minded band in the 90's to carry on his father's legacy. After Japan-only "Jungle Strut" debut album to met with critical favor, he moved his act back to the States where he could finally record an album for the US. He spent a few years writing and performing, and by 2002 he had enough material to release the fiery "Introducing G.G." on Jazzateria Recordings.
