Graziella Di Prospero, was born in Sezze (LT) and lived for a long time in Rome. She died in Ariccia on October 27, 2013. Interested in discovering and studying Italian folk traditions with particular reference to the Lazio Region, she has dedicated itself to systematically researching fragments and verses of popular songs linked to the rural traditions of the territory, in order to reach a greater knowledge and understanding of the ethnological and musicological heritage of the area. Was one of the emblems and symbols of the struggle in defense of women's rights, and on several occasions was called with some of her songs to popular festivals organized by protest movements.
