Band,
It all started with a band called "Mono & Isai" at the end of the 90s, with the participation of Evgeniy Rodionov (former "Cool Front"). The band played dub and reggae, playing at clubs and open air festivals. In the beginning of the new century they changed their name to "Green Point Dub Orchestra" and started jamming and collaborating with many musicians forming a big live group. At one of the KAZANTIP festivals during their performance a 16 year old girl came up to them asking if she could sing, they gave her the microphone without a word, only the lead vocalist Isay gave her a strange look but was soon singing with her. They exchanged contacts after the gig and promised to contact each other back in Moscow. Surprisingly they did and thus Miriam Sekhon joined the band. In a few years their musical style had changed becoming more ethnical and lounge. Later in 2006 Isay left the group forming a band called "Navigators". Green Point Orchestra has been performing at different festivals such as Kazantip, Pustie Holmi, Etnolife, Space of Joy, Nashestvie, Jazz Koktebel, Kinotavr, MMKF, Fashion Week Milan (Vougue) and others. It has been nominated "best lounge group 2006" (Russian Lounge Festival). Throughout the years the group has performed and collaborated with Aleksandr Holodenko (Svet), Maksim Nekrasov, Piotr Tikhonov, Vladis Golkov, Aleksandr Shishkin, NIkolay Sarabianov, Dmitry Skvortsov and many others.
