Double disc radio show in a standard thick double jewel case. This was a two-hour show (including commercials). Program coincided with the release of Gregg Allman's "Just Before the Bullets Fly" album. Show #88-15 was originally broadcast for a two-week window starting 8-8-88. This was the first Up Close show to utilize a show number. This numbering system would continue until the final Up Close program in February 2004. Interviews include: Gregg Allman, Dan “Dangerous Dan” Toler, Duane Allman (archive), Eric Clapton, and Dickey Betts. “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed” and “Statesboro Blues” were from the live album "At Fillmore East." “One Way Out” is a live cut from "Eat A Peach." Michelob beer ads using Eric Clapton’s live “After Midnight”, Steve Winwood’s “Talking Back To The Night”, and CCR’s “The Nighttime Is The Right Time”. Gregg is misspelled “Greg” on the CD!
