Musician of Blues
Gregg Krupa has been singing and playing the blues for almost 25 years. A native of Wexford, he started playing guitar at the age of 13. After high school he went straight into the Pittsburgh bar scene where he learned the ins and outs of the buisness he would work in his whole life. He's played countless bars and one night stands working on his craft, appeared numerous times at the Pittsburgh Blues Festival, Carnegie Music Festival and Blues Fest North as well as performing on the Gateway Clipper Blues Cruise. He's opened for National Acts such as John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Buckwheat Zydeco, Sonny Landreth, Chris Duarte, Joe Bonnamassa and Cory Harris. While some have compared him to Stevie Ray Vaughan and others say he reminds them of Eric Clapton, Gregg's true talents shine when he's playing an original composition and he can draw on his full talent to entertain and sometimes even amaze his audiences.
