Composer
A.k.a. Grimace (also Grymace, Grimache, Magister Grimace, Magister Grimache)
Grimace was a French composer active during the period known as ars nova (1310s-1377) in France and the Burgundian Low Countries. His birth and death dates are not known, and neither is his identity. His name is likely a sobriquet, which was a common practice amongst the composers of the period. Three of his works were included in the famous Codex Chantilly.
