Grok is an American experimental noise project, with a focus on "natural, organic and weather related sounds". Formed in 2005, Grok began, initially as a creative pairing between (then husband and wife) Keith Suchland and Susan Suchland. Seeking an outlet for experimenting outside the confines of Catharsiss, Keith and Susan began manipulating sound loops and field recordings, focusing on weather related sounds. After releasing a couple demo tracks, on their Myspace page, Grok was placed on hiatus, in 2006. In 2012, Keith began working on the incomplete "Grothar Saga", releasing the single edit of the first track, "Grothar's Awakening", on Shit Noise 46, in 2013.
