Grouser from Richmond Va. A 3 piece rock/math/punk band with a style all thier own. Aggressive vocals. complete with with super tight and catchy guitar riffs, riding a swift undercurrent of precise beats and a super hum of the twin bass. Grouser is one of the best non-commercial live acts around. "Harmonic Freight Train" is a well recorded record produced by Mark Smoot of Farquhar. Richmond, VA, math rock metal punks Grouser played locally for years before releasing their debut CD, Harmonic Freight Train, on Porcelain Productions in June of 1999. The group, led by drummer/vocalist Neal Clark and guitarist/vocalist Mike Wells, put their time in again on the road after the release of this album, touring with Matador artist Unsane, as well as doing a string of shows in Canada. ~ Stacia Proefrock, http://www.allmusic.com
