The Quartet Sebastian was founded 1982 as The Quartet of The Musical Youth of Zagreb (Kvartet muzičke omladine Zagreb). Since 1990 it works as The Quartet Sebastian. Members of the quartet were improved on mastercourses for chamber music in Grožnjan (Croatia), Rogaška Slatina (Slovenia), Pecs (Hungary) and Saumure (France). Since 1988 quartet is a member of The International Foundation Yehudi Menuhin in Paris. The Quartet Sebastian gave many concerts in Croatia and also in Slovenia, France, North Korea, Italy, Austria and Hungary. Repertoire of the quartet includes works from classical to contemporary music with emphasis on Croatian compositions.
