Guido Fichtner, from Milan, is a guitar teacher at the "Guido Cantelli" Conservatory of Novara. In 1984 he graduated with honors from the Conservatory of Piacenza, with Mauro Storti. He continued his studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique "Alfred Cortot" in Paris with Alberto Ponce, obtaining the Diplôme in 1985 Supérieur d'Execution and in 1986 the Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste. In 1987 he won the 1st prize at the "Renè Bartoli" Competition in Arles (France), in 1991 on "Francisci Tàrrega" prize in Benicasim (Spain), in 1987 the 1st prize at the "GBAnsaldi" chamber music section of Mondovì (Italy) in duo with Rino Trasi. Awarded also to the "Fernando Sor" of Rome, "Emilio Pujol" of Sassari, "Ennio Porrino" of Cagliari, "Nicola Fago" of Taranto, "Ville de Carpentras". In 1993 he was one of the winners of the National Competition, for exams and titles, for guitar posts at the Conservatories Italian. He has performed in 31 countries in the world both as a soloist and in various chamber ensembles (Les Deux Amis, Duo Paganini, Milan Soloists, Guitalian Quartet).
