Musician / Producer of Rock
A.k.a. Guilherme Manuel Scarpa Lopes Inés
Portuguese drummer, keyboardist and producer. He started playing guitar on Sharks and Hooks, that changed their name to Zoo, where he moved to drums. Guilherme Inês and Fernando Couceiro left the band before they split-up. Later he was on Os Chinchilas (1970), Objectivo (1971) and on one of the latest Quarteto 1111 line-ups. With José Moz Carrapa and Zé Nabo he formed Cid, Scarpa, Carrapa e Nabo. He played on gigs with José Afonso, Vitorino, Fausto and Sérgio Godinho. He joined Salada de Frutas in 1981. With Zé da Ponte he became an important producer and started Namouche Studios in 1982. They formed Zoom, with Formiga, releasing one album. Zé da Ponte e Guilherme Inês join Luis Oliveira, releasing an album as Bluff. Also with Zé da Ponte he produced in 1989 "Tu Aqui" from Lena D'Água. Later he produced first Dulce Pontes albums (Lágrimas, Caminhos). He has worked as executive director on BMG Portugal.
