Spanish poet, journalist and librettist, born 26 February 1893 and died 17 August 1965 in Madrid, Spain. Son of also writer Carlos Fernández Shaw and brother of . With Federico Romero, he wrote the libretto for two of the best-known zarzuelas of the 20th century: "Doña Francisquita" and "Luisa Fernanda".
