Live at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan, 15th January 1993 [manufacturer Info (translate from Japanese to English] It was 23 years ago that Axl Rose, Slash & Duff McKagan shared the stage in Japan for the final time in the 1990's, but here is the live album that contained "The Last Night in Japan with All Three People" in a superb sound! That "last night" is "1993 January 15: Tokyo Dome performance". It is GUNS N' ROSES who visited Japan twice during the "USE YOUR ILLUSION WORLD TOUR" and completed all six performances, but they were all at the Tokyo Dome. It is an easy story to those who remembered at that time, but since it has been 23 years ago in any case, let's review the dates: · February 19, 1992: Tokyo Dome · February 20, 1992: Tokyo Dome · February 22, 1992: Tokyo Dome "After 11 months" · January 12, 1993: Tokyo Dome · January 14, 1993: Tokyo Dome · January 15, 1993: Tokyo Dome [this work] Those were the USE YOUR ILLUSION JAPAN TOUR's six performances. This work is an audience recording of the complete show excellent, clear sound. And I recorded a prestigious Kinney! This recording itself was published in the title "Get In The Ring (GNR 30152)" at that time (1993), it was the best recording released from the 1993 tour of Japan. Of course, that work is not remastered, etc. I got physical access to the two original master DAT tapes and reworked the pressed 2CD set again. The quality of this release is exquisite! It is obvious that it is an omnibus master because it is recorded longer than the episodes until the guitar between songs, waiting for encore, cheers after the show, and even "Only Women Bleed" guitar, but they sound more brilliant than that. The rich sound that could not be reproduced with the childish pressing technology at that time can be heard from your speakers now. Of course, it was a superb sound that gathered extraordinary acclaim for the time, but there was so much waiting to be unsealed from the original DATs. The richness of the bass is not comparable, and the treble which was slightly scattered is also refreshing and smooth on this release. Moreover, deterioration is hardly seen in DAT, and the sound itself pops out. How could the technology at the time only convey the thin sound? This was for the first time to capture how rich the sound from the venue was. And it is miraculous splendor of the recording itself that emerges more clearly with this original DAT. Speaking of Tokyo Dome in the early 1990's, the worst acoustics are natural. It is almost impossible to record in Matumo where I recorded it with poor equipment of the time even though I was at the mercy of time difference and return even if I listen on site. How difficult it was, as many other recordings of those days proved. However, "almost impossible" was not "absolutely impossible". It was Kinnie Staff who did the most difficult work. In fact, the beautiful sound of this work is super beautiful and super high-end. Even the reverberation which is warmly dull is transparent, and each grain of sound is smooth like silk. Duff's bass rolls into the gorgor when thinking so. It is not what we call "soundboard quality", but clearly clear vibrant transparency sound with zero blur and the detail is more beautiful than line recording. It is super clear sound that you can not believe was recorded from the audience at the Tokyo Dome, but the air that scatters from there is undoubtedly a big egg. The cheering comes to a roar. I do not know until the recording position, but while suffering super beautiful tones from the front, a big cheer like the Hanshin Giants fight pushes the back from behind. In other words, it feels as if you are taking a shower in the performance directly while floating in the crowd. It is a live album that you can taste the contemporary rock 'n' roll while immersing in the huge spectacle.
