In 1990, the hard rock band OXIDO published the debut album "Breaking Down The Walls" on Mercury Records. As the hoped-for success did not materialize, OXIDO broke up and the musicians John Lurke, Patrick Reilly and Mark Levin decided to look for new musicians and found a new band. In Steve De Biasi (guitar) and Max Zack (drums), in 1994 founded the band GUNSHY. In 1995, the GUNSHY debut album "Mayday" was released on the German Long Island Records label. In the studio, the prominent musicians Jamie St. James (including BLACK & BLUE) and Tomy Thayer (including BLACK & BLUE, KISS) were responsible for the backing vocals. Unfortunately GUNSHY did not make the hoped-for success with "Mayday", continued to spark "Mayday" and broke up after only one disc. Members: John Luke (lead and backing vocals); Patrick Reilly (keyboards, backing vocals), Steve De Biasi (guitars, backing vocals); Mark Levin (bass, backing vocals); Max Zack (drums, backing vocals).
