Belgian singer, born on August 22, 1972 in Sint-Joost-ten-Node (Brussels). In the second half of the 1990s & early 2000s he was a part of the Belgian Euro Dance band X-Session, while using the name Gene Thomas. In 2003 he went solo (still using the name Gene Thomas), steering for a more rock orientated style of music and lyrics in the Dutch language. Since then he has had several hits in his home country. On the 7th June 2003 he married with Kristel Verbeke.
