Composer and danzonera (band that plays danzon) leader. The danzón "Acapulco" was written in 1946 by Gus Moreno, alias "El Cura" and performed by the danzonera directed by him in the legendary "Salón México". Moreno was also the author of the danzón "Pulque Para Dos" (a mocking retort to the American song "Tea For Two") of which they made a sparkling creation The Xochimilcas.
