Classical (Baroque)
© Copyright by Harmonia Mundi Schallplattengesellschaft, 78 Freiburg. Production: Harmonia Mundi. Recording: Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nürnberg. Design: Point. Made & printed in Germany. The record comes in a gate-fold sleeve with sleeve notes in German and English. The first sleeve is not glued together, thus giving an extra 2-page for notes. Cover illustration / photo: Harpsichord of Carlo Grimaldi, Messina 1697. Gustav Leonhardt played on period harpsichords from the "Sammlung Rück", Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nürnberg. Side A, track A1 to A4 on 'Einmanualiges Cembalo von Carlo Grimaldi, Messina, 1697. Side A, track A5 to A9 on Einmanualiges Cembalo von Andreas Ruckers, Antwerpen, 1637 Side B on 'Zweimanualiges Cembalo von Carl August Graebner, Dresden, 1782'. There is no date / year of release on the album. But on the remastered CD version it reads ℗1969 Harmonia Mundi. So if the production took place in 1969 it was very likely released no later than in 1970.
