Documentary feature film Gustavo Romero: Portrait in Piano takes viewers into Gustavo's life history and creative world, from his childhood as a prodigy to the present day as one of the leading classical pianists of our time. Through in-depth interviews and masterful performances of Chopin, Bach, Liszt, Scarlatti, and Fazil Say's "Black Earth", filmed in San Diego's best halls and the Juilliard School of Music in New York. Author and professor David Dubal shares his thoughts on Gustavo in a special appearance with extended performance footage included in the dvd. The documentary presents an intimate view of the artists world and tradition of classical piano to all generations.
