Forsyth and his backing band have real energy and can turn his originals (plus a handful of covers, like Jimmy Reed's "Mr. Luck" and Elmore James' "Done Somebody Wrong") into real barn-burners. It takes a little work to get beyond the feeling that this is all a parody, however, so this may try the patience of some hardline purists. Those that can take the bad with good, however, will hear some sturdy roadhouse boogie. ~ Thom Owens difference to High Temperature is in the barcode
