Singer / Musician / Producer
Guyom Pavesi is a French producer and sound-engineer (studio and live) from Paris (born and raised in Brittany). He started practicing the drums, guitar and vocals at age 11. He handled his first analog console at age 15 during a live performance. He has worked as an assistant engineer between 2004 and 2007 with many bands and artists in different studios, and has been working on his own productions, recordings and mixes since 2007: Headcharger, The Prestige, Checkmate, Devianz, EnfantLoup, Flora, Dead Sea Lions, Apes Did Ensemble, Alternine, Dream Factory, EKO, Long Time To Lay A Track... Guyom loves unusual places to record albums: a family house, a chapell, a manor, a concert hall, a music school... This allows him to work on the acoustics of the rooms (from where he picked up the name of his mixing studio, "The Room") to give a personal vibe to each album. Alan Douches from West West Side Music, New York State, USA, often masters Guyom's works. In June 2013, Guyom was invited in Sorocaba, Saõ Paulo State, Brazil, by local producer and studio owner Felipe Colenci to conduct an audio masterclass. In June 2014, he started recording his first solo album, Flora, which he says is "the soundtrack of a movie that does not exist yet".
