South African disco assemblage HOT R.S. stands for House Of The Rising Sun. Active in the late 70's Recorded four albums. Centred around the key producers Dan Hill (2) and Kevin Kruger plus some session musicians like singers René Veldsman, John Weddepohl and Judy Fältskog, guitarist Trevor Rabin, keyboardist Duncan Mackay and drummer Cedric Samson (2). Covered The Animals's 1964 classic "House Of The Rising Sun" and Iron Butterfly's 1968 hit "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" cleverly combined with Frankie Vaughan's 1957 hit "Garden Of Eden".
