Jazz
French jazz/world band created by Didier Malherbe and Loy Ehrlich in 1996 : their duo album Hadouk evolving into a trio project with the addition of percussionist Steve Shehan. The name derives from the main instruments played by Ehrlich and Malherbe in this project : the Hajouj and the Doudouk. Hadouk Trio was very successful and France and abroad. They have been awarded at the " Victoires du Jazz" in 2007, and played extensively in France, but also in Russia, Armenia, Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, USA, Canada, Turkey, West Africa, England, India. In 2013, Steve Shehan left Hadouk, and the band continued with a new line-up as Hadouk Quartet.
