Musician / Composer / Arranger of Rock
Austrian composer, arranger, guitar and bass player and writer of songs, lyric poetry and prose. He was born February 10, 1952 in Vienna and died April 25, 1998 in Schwaz/Tyrol (Suicide). In the beginning of his career he played guitar and bass in experimental psychodelic bands like Paternoster (2). In the Seventies he travelled to Africa which expanded his musical horizon, same as his studies in Indian music, especially Tabla drums did. He came more and more into Free Improvisation and Musique Concrète, playing in Tyrol along side Werner Pirchner, Gunter Schneider (2) and Harry Pepl. He was writing music for theatre and film and at the same time he specialized on composing experimental computer music. Father of Thomas Wisser.
