Hakim Rachek (born 16 March 1976, Paris, France) is a French musician, record producer , composer and audio engineer , best known as the bass player and music director of the Persian pop singer Kamyar and former member of the group Black Cats. Black Cats ( band ): ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hakim Rachek joined Persian band Black Cats based in Los angeles , formed by Shahbal Shabpareh, in 2004 as the new bass player. The band also featured Kamyar (lead vocal),Shahbal Shabpareh (percussions and vocals), Schubert Avakian (keyboard and music director), Ramin Zoka (drums), and Gilbert Avakian (percussions). In addition to performing on the debut Black Cats Next Level album Scream of the cats, Hakim Rachek also played on tour with the band for their live shows across the US, Europe and Middle East during 2005 to 2008 in prestigious venues such as the Dolby Theater, Los Angeles ; Universal Amphitheater, Los Angeles ; Caesars Palace and the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada; Auberhausen in Cologne, Germany; and the Tennis Aviation Club in Dubai. Kamyar ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In 2008 , Hakim rachek and Kamyar left the Black Cats to pursue the solo career of Kamyar. He co-produced the successful Kamyar's first solo album "Dobareh" that came out late 2010 and became the music director , bass player , back vocalist of Kamyar's international band.The album is an instant success in the persian community ,and mega hits such as "Az Daste To","Dobareh" ,"Nazdike Man"  have become classics in the middle east . Since the debut album , Hakim rachek has been producing many songs for Kamyar that got released as singles in the persian music market. The latest release was "Bodo Bia" , a pop reggae song in October 2017 , release on Radio Javan. Collaborations ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hakim started working with Matt Mrok , his long time best friend , who took over Hakim’s Music Management . Their partnership and special bound created some fantastic collaborations  . In 2014 , Hakim Rachek met the Disney actress and singer Elle Winter and co-composed ,produced ,mixed and mastered ,2 songs for her , “Record straight” and “Paradise“. Hakim also started working on a new project for the Legendary persian singer Mansour . 3 EDM singles came out of this great collaboration .  “Bedooneh Tou“ , "Farze Mahal“ , “Nagoona“ . Hakim Rachek first K-POP co-production and co-composition 나만의 길 was released in October 2014 for the R’N’B Korean singer , Bobby Kim featuring Double K.  In 2015 , Matt Mrok introduced Hakim Rachek to his artist , Quincy (Puff Daddy’s son) , to work on the mixes and mastering of his up coming album .The first single released was "Exotic" Featuring G-Easy. In 2016 , Hakim worked on numerous mixes projects for Quincy , mixed and mastered the single "Coconuts" for Honey Cocaine , and 3 mix and mastering singles for the persian singer Ardalan Tomeh .    Hakim Rachek mixed and mastered Quincy’s new EP that got release in April 2017 , called : This is for you and the debut single of the french female singer Abi Lomby , "Lose no sleep" the Huko Radio remix. 2018 , Hakim Rachek got introduced to Patrick Bruel and started a collaboration on Patrick's new album "Ce soir on sort...". Hakim co-produced the single " Qu'est-ce qu'on fait" with Roman Chelminski. March 2018 , Hakim rachek appeared on the french Tv reality show , Les Anges season 10 episodes 38 and 42 , and vocal produced the debut single "Ta plus belle insomnie" for the french actress and singer Barbara Opsomer. Recently, Quincy released the singles "Snuggle up" , "Don't know nothing" , "You're crazy i'm fine" , "Sorry Kids" that Hakim Rachek mixed and mastered.
