Band, AT
Rock and Pop
During the mid–seventies Nino Smeraldi (founder and leader of Le Orme) left that band to form Hans & Babilonia. He is joined by Austrian vocalist Hans Triebnig, the bass guitar player Piercarlo D’amato ( songwriter with Lucio 48, Caterina Caselli, Dik Dik, Trophy etc…), the drummer Giorgio Fattoretto, the guitar player Ivano Zanenghi (actually one of the most refined performer of ancient music), Carlo Rebeschini (the historic pianist of La Fenice Orchestra, Venice) and Paolo Zanella (guitar player, flutist, composer and ex–member of Blues Right Off, whose vinyl record is current the most in demand in the world). Soon after the recording of this precious work, which takes 3 years to complete, the group disbanded. The tapes where ‘forgotten’ in a drawer for over 35 years. Piercarlo D’amato, together with Claudio Donà, the manager of Caligola Records and Gutenberg Music, has recovered and produced this vynil record. 300 copies of the Lp have been released in July 2018 by Gutenberg Music, a label by Caligola Records, along with an extremely elegant sleeve and booklet (with all lyrics, in German and Italian language), designed by the important Venecian artist Luigi Gardenal.
