hardcore uproar was the name given to group of people who attended the infamous blackburn warehouse parties in the late 80s and early 90s,THE HARDCORE UPROAR.3 of these people, psycho p,preston bob and klak got together with a young musical whizzkid chris thompson and with the help of 102.5 fm and kris reidy(all around the world records)got the chance to go into a recording studio proper(the song was written completely on chris's w30)and try their luck in the music buisness.the out of the blue mix was done in about 12 hrs, upstairs at minstrels then in the studio the day after,we never really got chance to mix the tune proper.imagine our surprise being no1 in mixmag for bloody ages.the whole thing imploded when young whizzkid decided to leave and become a megastar, bloody shame.everything chris did had something but the hardcore uproar stamp was missing(sorry chris)and i think he is now a washing machine repairman!A 2003 remix is about to go into production,2 of the original members preston bob and pyscho p are working on it with the help of funkboutiuque(the funky manchester dj)and others, keep an ear out.If young chris is out there get out from behind them washing machines and give us a lift,it would be nice to see you
