Musician / Composer of Rock and Classical

Finnish composer, music critic, writer, teacher and guitarist, born March 22, 1954 in Uskela. He started his career in the early 1970's in the progressive band called Nimbus (4), which released only one album. After Nimbus Suilamo pursued studies in musicology, philosophy and cultural history at the University of Turku. From there he continued to study composition at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, and also attended on courses of computer music organized by YLE.
