Dutch trombone player and composer (born 1960) who studied trombone, music theory and conducting at the conservatorium of Arnhem. He was involved in the founding of the Melomaan Ensemble and was artistic leader of this orchestra from 1981 to 1988. He led the Symphonic Wind Band of the Arnhem Conservatorium from 1983 to 1990 where is also a conducting teacher. Besides that he also regularly conducts other wind orchestras and is involved in cd productions. He also regularly gets commissions to write new original compositions for wind orchestra and create new arrangements.
