Both songs recorded in New York City. Recording dates/locations and performance credits from Jazz and Ragtime Records (1897-1942): A-K. Note these recordings pre-date the recordings of the same songs James later made for Columbia. Release date set per p. 74 of the July 4, 1942 issue of Billboard.
