A.k.a. Robert Henry Robinson
British music hall artist Born in Middlesborough in 1885 but came to London for better work opportunities c 1905. Also went under various names such as Norton Green, Roy Norton and Lin Thorpe, derived from his home towns. He also played with the Gotham Comedy Quartet (may or may not be the same as Gotham Comedy Quartette) and the Cleveland Trio. After a car accident in the 1930's he was not able to perform any more.
