British jazz pianist, composer, and arranger. Born: 7 September 1929 in Fulham, London, England, UK. Died: 12 March 1990 in Lambeth, London, England, UK (aged 60). Worked with many of the British jazz scene, including Joe Harriott, Dizzy Reece, Tony Crombie, Tubby Hayes, Les Condon, Ashley Kozak, Dick Morrissey, Ronnie Scott, amongst many others. He is father to Anita Deed.
