Worked with many of the British jazz scene, including Joe Harriott, Dizzy Reece, Tony Crombie, Tubby Hayes, Les Condon, Ashley Kozak, Dick Morrissey, Ronnie Scott, amongst many others. He is father to Anita Deed.
