The acutely gifted Robert Banks had his own reasons for mostly singing under a pseudonym. Presumably his dedicated to Gospel Music he didn't see fit to use his own name in a commercial recording. A man first coming into the Northern Soul eye, when one of his few 45's credited to him his 1967 Verve "Mighty Good Way" rattling every all night Northern Soul Club in the early 70's.
