Band,
Genuinely, loosey-goosey, rollicking honky-tonk, country dream groove, dark soul, all the way to hear a pin drop mellow. It’s difficult to nail down one true tag to describe the sound of the band’s music, but what’s certain is that over the course of two years, Haunted Hearts has developed a distinctly recognizable sound that is both reminiscent and unique. Their two albums, “Thank You, Goodnight” and “Howdy”, are the proof. Haunted Hearts released Thank You, Goodnight in the summer of 2009 to stellar reviews, and as a result, were awarded Alternative Recording of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the Music PEI Awards in January 2010. As well, the band was nominated for Songwriter(s) of the Year at Music PEI 2010, Rising Star award at East Coast Music Awards 2010 and they showcased at both events. “Howdy”, released September 2010, displays growth and promise in dynamite fashion and is expected to continue the trend for the hard working band from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
