All-girl new wave band from Philadelphia, PA, USA. Released one 7" single, in 1981. 'Jungle Jam', the Aside, has been described as an "an offbeat love song to their city". Two of the members of Head Cheese, Jade Lee and Susan Ottaviano, along with the producer of their 7", Ted Ottaviano (no relation to Susan), later formed Book Of Love.
