A.k.a. H.O.D.I.C.A.
Formed in the early 1980s in The Black Country (West Midlands, UK), Head Of David was an influential alternative rock band with punk and industrial overtones and is best known as a prototypical Godflesh, due to the fact that ex-Napalm Death member Justin Broadrick played drums for the band prior to forming Godflesh. Head Of David split in 1991, though members Stephen Burroughs, Eric Jurenskovis, Paul Sharp and Dave Cochrane still play together. Members: Stephen Reuben Burroughs - vocals Eric Jurenovskis - guitar Dave Cochrane - bass (1986 - 1989) Paul Sharp - drums (1986 - 1987) Justin Broadrick - drums (1987 - 1989) Bipin Kumar - bass / backing vocals (1991)
