Annemay was Heinrich Schlusnus' wife. Her first husband was Prof. Louis Bachner, who helped Schlusnus to perfect his vocal and interpretation technique. Schlusnus: "[He] has given me freedom of voice, my vocal technique, and an understanding of proper singing. What I am, is thanks to him." The original recordings are from 1938.
