Cellist Helena Binney studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School, the Royal Northern College of Music, and at the University of McGill in Montreal. She has recorded and broadcast with chamber ensembles and orchestras all over the world. As soloist she has performed concertos in United States and the UK. She plays and tours with the Guildhall String Ensemble, and is principal cello with the Glyndebourne Touring Opera. She also plays in the Mainardi Piano Trio.
