Single UK 1983 on Deadly Weapon Records label
Rock (Heavy Metal)
The original Deadly Weapon Records release had no cover, with the 7" In a plain paper sleeve. Originally intended to come with a booklet instead of a picture sleeve. These (red front & back covered) booklets list the title of the record on the front cover as "The Devil's Deadly Weapon". These booklets include the lyrics to "Save Us", biography info & lineup, recording info, and thanks list, all specifically for the 7" (as the booklets were never intended to ever be sold separately), as well as rare photos / art. Unfortunately a lot of the booklets were lost before the release so many copies never had one at all. Today almost all of the copies of the 7" are now are missing the booklet and a few bootleg copies of "The Devil's Deadly Weapon" 7" booklets (without 7"s and with white covers) have shown up on ebay in recent years. The 7" was intended to be titled "The Devil's Deadly Weapon" (As shown in the cover of the booklets made for the 7" to substitute a picture sleeve) but with the loss of most booklets the title was widely unknown and the single had become known as "Save Us From Those Who Would Save Us". Music video was made for instrumental "Death Squad" Sequentially listed tracks on center labels as A1 and A2. ℗ & © 1983 Third Age Mus.
