Austrian mastering engineer, b. May 17th, 1956. Responsible for lacquer cutting and MC mastering at Phonodisc GesmbH / Polygram Record Service GesmbH from February 1979 until Polygram retracted from manufacturing by December 31st, 1983. Continued his cutting and CD mastering activities after the machinery was sold and transferred to Viennola BTG in January 1984 and became chief engineer until plant closure in March 2002. Subsequently chief engineer at the Preiser Records-studio (Wassergasse, 1030 Vienna), being responsible mainly for Audiobook recording / design and digital audio restoration from April 2002 until studio closure in September 2010. Mastering signature: LH (stamped or - less frequently - etched). Lathe: Neumann VMS 70 Viennola BTG digital equipment (acquired autumn 1986): Studer DAD 16, DAE 1100 A, DMR-2000/4000 U-Matic Recorders, PCM 1630 Audio-Processor
