A.k.a. Henrik Štefan Burkat
Born as Henrik Štefan Burkat on 18th. december 1938 in Gorenje Kamenca (Dolenjska region). He got his first accordion when he was around 6 or 7 years old, from a gypsy wanderer. In 1963, he and Metka Kastrevc's uncle and aunt signed up on a show on Radio Ljubljana. In 1965 they were at Pokaži kaj znaš, and won 2nd. place. In 1967 they made their first record Pod oknom. Vilko Ovsenik encouraged Henček to pick the name of his ensemble same as his nickname was, so ensemble was then named Henčkov trio. Ensemble worked from 1965 till 2001. Henček died on 5th. may 2011 in Gorenje Kamence after long ilness.
