Swedish violin player. Henrik Hansson was trained at the Colleges of Music in Gothenburg and Hamburg. He started his career as an orchestral musician with a position with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. This was followed by a few years as concertmaster of the Royal Court Orchestra and the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra. In 1994 he assumed his present employment, in the first violin section of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Henrik Hansson has also performed as a chamber musician in several contexts, including radio concerts and several appearances at Stockholm Concert Hall.
