Date of Birth 10 May 1866, St. Louis, Missouri, USA Date of Death 23 March 1919, New York City, New York, USA (pneumonia) Playwright, lyricist, songwriter ("Kiss Me Again", "I Want What I Want When I Want It"), and author, educated at the Stoddard School. He was in the insurance business, and joined ASCAP in 1914, becoming both a charter member and a director from 1917-1919. He collaborated musically with Victor Herbert and Alfred G. Robyn.
