Musician, Henry David Cain, Jr., passed away in Las Vegas, May 10, 2005, was born in 1935. He learned music at an early age and graduated from Cathedral High School and attended Indiana University. He played piano with several musicians in Indianapolis in the 1950's, and together with Albert Coleman, drummer, and the late Will Scott, bassist, formed The Three Souls Jazz Trio in 1954 (also known as The 3 Souls), which remained together playing through the 1990's. They recored for Chess, Checker and Argo (includiung the hit "Night Theme" which always showed the keyboard and musical talents of Henry). He played with numerous other musicians and vocalists in California. He recorded the album "The Funk Organization of Henry Cain".
