H5Work is a project created by producer Henry Veloso, designed to embrace all that is artistic through music. “Miles From OZ” is Henry’s first album under the H5Work project. He composed, performed, recorded and produced it in Brooklyn, NY where he currently resides. The songs are an eclectic fusion of ingredients gathered and cultivated over years of musical immersion. Henry’s intrinsic musical appetite traces back to his Brazilian roots and his well-versed skills as a composer, arranger and session (live and studio) bassist/guitarist. He credits some of the world’s best musicians such as Stanley Clarke, Paul McCartney, Bernard Edwards, and Donald Fagan for providing inspiration, without forgetting his compatriots Djavan, Caetano Veloso and João Bosco, among many others. Always driven by a passion for the groove, Henry honors the world's influence and beauty by bringing you “Miles From OZ”.
